Imogen a lady of Carrisford lived alone in
her castle after her dad passed away. Carrisford was mighty, impregnable
fotress, therefore a lot of people wanted to marry with Carrisford Lady then
lived at Carrisford castle.
One day came Warbrick who wanted to wed
Imogen. Warbrick was a vile giant of man tall and massive. Warbrick met Sir
Gilbert de Valens, Imogen father’s marshal. Sir Gilbert had dictated a plea to
the king for protection. When warbrick had come courting Imogen, every word of
his reputation for bestial cruel and
superhuman strength was surely true. Gilbert and Warbrick were fought, Warbrick
took the man’s wirst in his beefy paw and controlled with ease. Sir Gilbert
fell to his knee, then dead. Imogen knew this, felt her own legs weaken with
fear. She ran into the room fleeing some terror but finding worse. Janine,
Imogen’s middle aged handmaid was found by Warbrick. He thrust into Janine and
pumped at her.
Imogen might be able to escape before she
was found by warbrick. She had only follow the passage to find the exit. A
faint gleam of light told her, she was near the exit. Abruptly the light was
obscured. She shrank back,finally she met Siward, her father’s steward. He told
Imogen, to find an aid from Lord FitzRoger. They decided to meet FitzRoger,
both were pretended as poor peasant, Imogen looked down and saw a bloodstain on
the cloth binding her right foot. Then they arrived at Cleeve Castle and met
FitzRoger guard. She only hope, she had got her aid.
